Title I Program

The Title I Program helps ensure that all children meet challenging state academic content and student academic achievement standards. Eligible students are provided with additional instructional support and resources to reach optimal grade level performance.

Parent Resource Center

The Parent Resource Center is located in the school conference room. The resource center offers free educational information, parenting tips, and take home materials for parents to check out. Also, computers and Internet access are available for parents. The parent resource center is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you need to schedule a time after 3:30 to check out materials then contact Stacey Blaylock or Teresa Guffey at the numbers listed above.

Parents' Right to Know

In compliance with the requirements of the No Child Left Behind statute, Chickamauga City Schools informs parents that you may request information about the professional qualifications of your student's teachers. The following information may be requested: certification, college major/graduate certification or degree held by the teacher, and qualifications of the paraprofessional, if paraprofessional services are provided.
