A list of admission counselors from colleges and universities that will be visiting our GLHS campus this year is available here (PDF, 37k). The document contains the dates and times of these visits. The admissions counselors will be here to answer various questions from students and parents about the programs, scholarships, fields of study, etc. offered at each of the various colleges/universities.
All students are encouraged to take advantage of these campus visits and explore the possibilities. Students will need to sign-up in the career center.
Scholarship opportunities
Applying for college and paying for college are two very difficult tasks. The scholarship opportunities listing is one source of information for parents and students. Although it is not comprehensive, it does serve as a very good starting point. This list will be updated with any new scholarship information on a frequent basis. If you are applying to college or applying for scholarships please complete the GLHS Recommendation Cheat Sheet. You can either email or bring this form to Mrs. Vowell's office. Remember, your application to college won't be complete without this form.
