2003-2004 season updates
February 10 - Gordon Lee's season ended with a 68-50 loss to top-seeded St. Francis. Jonathan Eller led the scoring with 15 points. Nathan Dennis added 13 and Jake Penland 12 for the Trojans. Gordon Lee finished with a record of 15-12.
February 9 - The Trojans advanced in the Region 6A tournament by beating Excel 69-49. Jonathan Eller scored 15, John Guthrie 12, and Nathan Dennis 11 for Gordon Lee.
February 7 - Gordon Lee rallied in the second half to beat Boyd Buchanan 71-58. John Guthrie scored 18 points, Jonathan Eller 16, Nathan Dennis 12, and Jake Penland 11 for the Trojans.
February 6 - Temple outscored Gordon Lee 24-14 in the fourth quarter to take a 55-49 win over the Trojans. Jake Penland led the scoring for Gordon Lee with 27 points. Nathan Dennis added 11.
January 31 - The Trojans fell to Bremen 75-60.
January 30 - Gordon Lee lost to Temple 68-46.
January 27 - Gordon Lee picked up a non-region win, defeating Marion County 88-56. Jake Penland scored 27, Billy Mount 18, and Nathan Dennis 14 for the Trojans.
January 24 - The Trojans moved their region record to 6-4 with a 63-57 win over Mount Paran. Jake Penland led the scoring with 22 points.
January 23 - Gordon Lee beat Excel 76-53. Jake Penland led the scoring for the Trojans with 19 points.
January 20 - Gordon Lee defeated Boyd Buchanan 80-77 in overtime. Jake Penland scored 25, Nathan Dennis 16, and Jonathan Eller 16 for the Trojans. John Guthrie's two three-pointers in the extra period were key to the victory.
January 16 - Gordon Lee lost to Trion 75-63. Nathan Dennis led the scoring with 22 points. Jake Penland and Jonathan Eller each added 15.
January 15 - Gordon Lee improved their region record to 4-3 by defeating Yeshiva 61-45. Jake Penland scored 23 and Nathan Dennis 10 for the Trojans.
January 10 - The Trojans beat Atlanta International 69-58. Jake Penland led the scoring with 21 points. Nathan Dennis added 13 and John Guthrie 12 for Gordon Lee.
January 9 - Gordon Lee defeated Ridgeland 55-50. Jonathan Eller scored 13, Nathan Dennis 12, Casey Hall 11, and John Guthrie 10 for the Trojans. The JV team beat Ridgeland 51-32.
January 5 - Gordon Lee lost to Trion 81-40. The JV team defeated Trion 47-43.
January 3 - The Trojans rallied late but couldn't overtake Galloway, losing 47-43.
January 2 - Gordon Lee held off a rally by Bremen to defeat the Blue Devils 69-66. Jake Penland led the Trojans in scoring with 33 points. Jonathan Eller added 13. The JV team also beat the Blue Devils.
December 20 - LaFayette scored with 18 seconds to play to defeat Gordon Lee 56-55. Jake Penland led the Trojans with 25 points. Nathan Dennis added 16. The JV team defeated the Ramblers 48-24.
December 19 - The Trojans lost to LFO 61-52. Jake Penland scored 21 points and Jonathan Eller 17 for Gordon Lee.
December 13 - Gordon Lee missed 20 free throws and lost in overtime to fourth-ranked St. Francis 83-77. Jake Penland led the Trojans with 27 points. Jonathan Eller added 20. The JV team defeated the Knights 63-42.
December 12 - The Trojans lost to Ridgeland 72-51. Jonathan Eller led Gordon Lee with 17 points. The JV team defeated Ridgeland 44-34.
December 9 - Gordon Lee defeated Excel 83-69. Jake Penland had 27 points and 10 rebounds for the Trojans and Nathan Dennis added 16 points and 15 rebounds.
December 6 - The Trojans beat Marion County 61-57. Jake Penland scored 20 points to lead Gordon Lee.
December 2 - Gordon Lee defeated LFO 61-44. Jonathan Eller led the Trojans with 16 points.
November 22 - Gordon Lee picked up a close win in the first home game of the season, defeating LaFayette 51-49. Jake Penland scored 21 points for the Trojans. Daniel Angel hit two crucial three-pointers in the fourth quarter to aid the Trojans.
November 20 - The Trojans lost to Walker Valley 78-66. Jake Penland scored 21, Jonathan Eller 16, and Nathan Dennis 14 for Gordon Lee.
November 18 - Gordon Lee opened the season with a 60-44 win over Tellico Plains. Nathan Dennis had a double-double for the Trojans with 16 points and 14 rebounds.
