2010-2011 season updates
Feb 17 Gordon Lee's season ended with a 61-40 loss to Mt. Paran in the Region 6-A tournament. Daniel Brooks led the Trojans with 14 points while Landon O'Neal added 10. Brooks was later selected as a member of the first-team All-Region team.
Feb 12 The Trojans topped Walker 69-57. Daniel Brooks scored 31 points for GLHS. Cody Wilson was also in double figures with 12 points.
Feb 11 Gordon Lee edged Bremen 66-62. Daniel Brooks led the Trojans with 22 points. Jacob Huff and Landon O'Neal each added 13 points.
Feb 8 The Trojans knocked off Chattanooga Christian 63-45. Daniel Brooks led GLHS with 25 points. Cody Cochran added 11 points and Andrew Johnson scored nine.
Feb 5 Gordon Lee lost to Trion 67-49. Daniel Brooks scored 27 points for the Trojans.
Feb 4 The Trojans defeated Excel Christian 63-43. Daniel Brooks led GLHS with 27 points. Andrew Johnson scored 11 and Cody Cochran added nine.
Feb 1 Gordon Lee fell to Trion 65-54. Daniel Brooks led the Trojans with 20 points and eight assists. Cody Wilson had 10 points while Landon O'Neal and Cody Cochran scored nine each. The JV team scored with six seconds to play to defeat the Bulldogs 42-41.
Jan 28 The Trojans lost to Darlington 52-29. Cody Wilson led GLHS with 10 points.
Jan 25 Gordon Lee missed two shots in the final 10 seconds and fell to Bremen 67-64. Daniel Brooks led the Trojans with 27 points. Landon O'Neal added 14, all in the second half.
Jan 22 The Trojans lost to Bowdon 60-40. Cody Wilson scored 10 points for GLHS. Andrew Johnson added nine.
Jan 21 Gordon Lee won its third straight game, knocking off Chattanooga Christian 55-36. Daniel Brooks led the Trojans with 16 points. Cody Wilson scored 13 while Landon O'Neal added 12.
Jan 18 The Trojans defeated Excel Christian 65-55. Daniel Brooks had 33 points, 11 steals, 10 rebounds, and six assists for GLHS. Landon O'Neal added 12 points.
Jan 8 Daniel Brooks hit a 19-foot jumper with 1.5 seconds to play to give Gordon Lee a 56-54 overtime victory over Mt. Zion. A Cody Cochran three-pointer with 20 seconds left in regulation had sent the game into the extra period. For the game Brooks had 17 points and five assists while Cochran had 10 points and 11 rebounds. The JV team also recorded a win over the Eagles.
Jan 7 The Trojans lost to North Cobb Christian 78-33. Daniel Brooks had 14 points for GLHS.
Jan 4 Gordon Lee trailed by only five with three minutes to play but saw Darlington pull away for a 67-51 win. Garret McAllister led the Trojans with 17 points. Daniel Brooks added 13. The JV team also fell to the Tigers.
Dec 30 The Trojans lost to Polk County 45-39 on the final day of the Battle of the States tournament. Daniel Brooks led GLHS with 18 points.
Dec 29 Gordon Lee bounced back in the Battle of the States tournament with a 58-41 win over Fannin County. Daniel Brooks poured in 29 points to lead the Trojans.
Dec 28 The Trojans fell 64-45 to Piedmont, Ala., in the first round of the Battle of the States tournament.
Dec 17 Gordon Lee dropped its region opener 53-33 to Mt. Paran.
Dec 14 The Trojans lost to Ringgold 69-58. Daniel Brooks led GLHS with 28 points. Landon O'Neal added 13. The JV team evened its record with a win over the Tigers.
Dec 10 Gordon Lee led after the first quarter but Heritage rallied for a 57-38 win over the Trojans. Daniel Brooks led GLHS with 14 points.
Dec 3 The Trojans fell to Ringgold 49-30.
Nov 30 Gordon Lee lost to Heritage 76-45. Cody Cochran led the Trojans with 13 points. Daniel Brooks added 10.
Nov 27 The Trojans fell to Rockmart 73-51.
Nov 26 Gordon Lee lost to North Murray 70-67. Daniel Brooks led the Trojans with 23 points. Landon O'Neal scored 16.
Nov 23 The Trojans opened their season with a 61-51 win over Southeast Whitfield. Daniel Brooks finished with 18 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds. Landon O’Neal picked up 11 points, while Cody Cochran added nine.
