2011 season updates

Oct 27 Camilla Loggins ran a personal best time and finished second in the Region 6-A meet at Darlington. The Lady Trojans also got personal records from Sarah Cash and Arika Culp. The boys' team had Dylan Smith, Andrew Johnson, and Jameson Mullinax all finish under 19 minutes, and the Trojans' average time of 19:08 was the best ever for a Gordon Lee team. The team finished in fifth place, just one point short of qualifying for the state meet.

Oct 18 Camilla Loggins finished first in the girls' race and Jameson Mullinax placed third in the boys' race at Fort Mountain State Park. Mullinax, Bo Cass, Logan Davis, Sarah Cash, and Morgan Boles all posted personal best times in the event.

Oct 17 Camilla Loggins was sixth in the Front Runner Championships at Baylor, and finished the season in seventh place in the Chattanooga Cross Country League, the highest finish ever for a GLHS runner.

Oct 4 GLHS had nine runners, Melanie Boyd, Lil Bradbury, Sarah Cash, Morgan Boles, Arika Culp, Alex Elliott, Bo Cass, Dakota Brown, and Jameson Mullinax, post season-best times in the Chattanooga Cross Country League meet in Dayton.

Sep 24 In the Darlington Cross Country Festival, Camilla Loggins (20:30), Sarah Cash, and Emily Shoup led the Lady Trojans while Andrew Johnson (18:45), Dylan Smith, and Jameson Mullinax were the top finishers for the Trojans.

Sep 20 Camilla Loggins was the girls' winner in the Northwest Invitational. Emily Shoup, Melanie Boyd, Sarah Cash, and Lil Bradbury were other top finishers for the Lady Trojans. The Trojans were led by Dylan Smith, Jameson Mullinax, and Jonas Vanlandingham.

Sep 13 At the CCCL meet at the Chattanooga Riverpark, the Trojans were led by Dylan Smith, Jameson Mullinax, and Bo Cass. Top finishers for the Lady Trojans were Camilla Loggins (fourth place), Sarah Cash, and Emily Shoup.

Sep 9 Camilla Loggins placed third overall with a time of 21:56 during the varsity girls' portion of the Dalton Invitational. Jameson Mullinax was the highest finisher for the Gordon Lee boys.

Aug 30 The Lady Trojans beat nine teams in the first CCCL race of the season. Camilla Loggins (9th out of 153 runners) and Sarah Cash led GLHS. The Trojans placed ahead of five other teams. Top finishers for the boys were Dylan Smith and Jameson Mullinax.
