2011-2012 season updates
Jan 31 Gordon Lee led 25-1 after one quarter and 40-2 at the half of its 53-15 win over Trion. Katelyn Lee scored 11 points for GLHS. Lil Bradbury, Sara Clayton, and Katie Barger had seven points each. The JV team beat the Lady Dogs 43-15 to finish its season with a record of 10-1.
Jan 27 The Lady Trojans fell to Darlington 54-38.
Jan 24 Gordon Lee beat Bremen 63-50. Kassidy Blevins scored 41 points for the Lady Trojans while Lil Bradbury grabbed 12 rebounds.
Jan 21 The Lady Trojans knocked off Bowdon 63-40. Kassidy Blevins had 24 points, nine assists, and six steals for GLHS. Lil Bradbury had 10 points and 14 rebounds while Katelyn Lee added 10 points, eight rebounds, and five blocked shots.
Jan 20 Gordon Lee topped Armuchee 66-40. Kassidy Blevins had 21 points and nine assists for the Lady Trojans. Kate Barger scored 13 points while Lil Bradbury had a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Jan 17 The Lady Trojans defeated Excel Christian 70-31. Kassidy Blevins scored 18 points and had seven steals for GLHS. Lexis Robertson finished with 13 points while Lil Bradbury added 11. Katelyn Lee had nine rebounds for Gordon Lee.
Jan 13 Gordon Lee beat Walker 57-27. Katie Barger led the Lady Trojans with 16 points. Lil Bradbury added 15 points while Katelyn Lee scored 14. Kassidy Blevins had eight points, nine assists, and nine steals.
Jan 10 The Lady Trojans used a 53-20 advantage in the second and third periods to put away Trion in a 69-43 victory. Kassidy Blevins had 18 points to lead GLHS. Lil Bradbury finished with 16 points while Katelyn Lee had nine points and nine rebounds. The JV team beat the Lady Dogs 43-12.
Jan 7 Gordon Lee mashed Mt. Zion 75-32. Kassidy Blevins led the Lady Trojans with 23 points. Katelyn Lee and Katie Barger scored 10 points each.
Jan 6 The JV team defeated North Cobb Christian 52-22.
Jan 3 The Lady Trojans lost to Darlington 56-49. Kassidy Blevins had 15 points and Lil Bradbury scored 13 for GLHS. The JV team also fell to the Lady Tigers, losing 39-34.
Dec 29 Gordon Lee captured its second straight Battle of the States championship by knocking off Union County 49-38 in the championship game. Tournament Most Valuable Player Lil Bradbury lead the Lady Trojans with 17 points. All-Tournament selection Kassidy Blevins scored 13 points. Katelyn Lee was also named to the All-Tournament Team.
Dec 28 The Lady Trojans advanced to the finals of the Battle of the States tournament by defeating Towns County 72-61. Leading a balanced GLHS attack were Lil Bradbury with 20 points, Katelyn Lee with 15 points, Kassidy Blevins with 13 points, and Katie Barger with 11 points.
Dec 27 Gordon Lee opened the Battle of the States tournament with a 72-32 win over Hayesville, N.C. Katelyn Lee led GLHS with 19 points. Lil Bradbury scored 14 and Lexis Robertson chipped in 11 points.
Dec 20 The Lady Trojans topped Ringgold 76-40. Katie Barger scored 21 points, Katelyn Lee had 20 points, and Lil Bradbury added 19 points to lead GLHS.
Dec 17 Gordon Lee defeated Coahulla Creek 87-22. Lil Bradbury led GLHS with 23 points. Katelyn Lee added 12 points while Taylor Hartline scored 11. The JV team beat the Lady Colts 43-16.
Dec 16 The Lady Trojans pounded Mt. Paran 86-26. Kassidy Blevins and Katie Barger scored 18 points each for GLHS.
Dec 13 Gordon Lee overwhelmed Ringgold 78-30. Kassidy Blevins scored 23 points for GLHS. Katelyn Lee added 12 points for the Lady Trojans.
Dec 10 The Lady Trojans outscored Armuchee 42-21 in the second and third quarters on their way to a 77-55 win over the Lady Indians. Kassidy Blevins led GLHS with 24 points and eight assists while Lil Bradbury scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Katie Barger added 13 points to the attack. The JV team won 48-41.
Dec 6 Gordon Lee cruised to a 69-7 win over Southeast Whitfield. Katelyn Lee and Lil Bradbury led a balanced Lady Trojan attack with 14 and 10 points, respectively. The JV team topped the Lady Raiders 47-10.
Dec 2 The Lady Trojans jumped to an 18-4 lead after one quarter and went on to beat Coahulla Creek 63-30. Kalei Kimbrell led GLHS with 13 points. Kassidy Blevins added 12 points and seven assists while Taylor Hartline scored 10. Katelyn Lee grabbed eight rebounds. The JV team opened its season with a 37-32 win over the Lady Colts.
Nov 26 Gordon Lee defeated North Murray 57-34 to finish 2-1 in the Southeast HoopFest. Lil Bradbury and Kassidy Blevins each scored 13 points to lead the Lady Trojans. Katelyn Lee grabbed 11 rebounds.
Nov 25 The Lady Trojans evened their record with a 59-40 win over Southeast Whitfield in the Southeast HoopFest. Katelyn Lee was the high scorer for GLHS with 14 points. Kassidy Blevins had 12 points.
Nov 22 Gordon Lee opened its season with a 67-43 loss to Kennesaw Mountain in the Southeast HoopFest. Katie Barger led the Lady Trojans with 11 points. Kassidy Blevins added 10 points and Lil Bradbury scored nine.
