2011 season updates
Apr 13 The boys' team finished fourth in the Region 6-A tournament. Jack Beesley and Seth Lewis were low-scorers for the Trojans with a pair of 87's. Josh Helton added a 90 and Lanier Guest had a 92. The girls' team was fifth in the tournament. Alli O'Neal and Danielle Watson led the Lady Trojans.
Mar 24 The Trojans had another season-low score in a match against Dade County and Ringgold. Josh Helton shot a 40 while Lanier Guest and Jack Beesley added a 42 and 43, respectively. Devin Edwards rounded out the scoring with a 46.
Mar 22 The boys' team shot its lowest score of the season and defeated Dade County, Ridgeland, and Heritage at Canyon Ridge. Lanier Guest led the Trojans with a 40. Josh Helton had a 44 while Devin Edwards and Jack Beesley added 46's. The girls' team beat Dade County and Ridgeland but fell to Heritage. Low scorers for the Lady Trojans were Danielle Watson and Alli O'Neal.
Mar 19 The Trojans finished sixth in the LaFayette Invitational. Lanier Guest was low man for GLHS with a 79. Guest was named to the All-Tournament team.
Mar 8 Both teams lost to Murray County at Spring Lakes.
Mar 2 The Trojans defeated Southeast Whitfield 180-184 in their season opener. Lanier Guest led GLHS with a 42. Devin Edwards shot a 45 while Ben Harris and Jacob Helton added a 46 and 47, respectively.
Mar 1 The Lady Trojans opened their season with losses to Heritage and Dalton. Danielle Watson and Erica Whitfield were low scorers for GLHS.
