2005 season updates
April 29 — The Lady Trojans' season ended with a 5-0 loss to second-ranked Athens Academy in the first round of the state tournament.
April 25 — The Lady Trojans lost to Bremen 3-1 and to Bowdon 3-1 to finish fourth in the region tournament. The doubles team of Kara Durham and Sara Stansell won against Bremen and Molly Colvard picked up the only win against Bowdon.
April 21 — The girls' team beat Excel Christian 3-1 to advance to the semifinals of the region tournament. Molly Colvard won in singles and the teams of Kara Durham-Sara Stansell and Jessy Pressley-Ashley Lumpkin won in doubles. The win qualifies the Lady Trojans for the state tournament. The boys' team had its season ended with a 3-0 loss to Trion.
April 19 — The Lady Trojans defeated Lookout Valley 8-1. Kara Durham, Sara Stansell, Jessy Pressley, and Ashley Lumpkin each picked up two wins. The boys lost to Lookout Valley 7-2.
April 18 — The girls' team beat Temple 4-1 but lost 4-1 to Bremen. Amanda Browning won twice for the Lady Trojans. Molly Colvard, Ashley Lumpkin, and the duo of Kara Durham-Sara Stansell also won for Gordon Lee. The boys' team fell to Temple 3-2 and to Bremen 5-0. Daniel Watts and the team of Greg Buckley and Charlie Webb picked up the Trojans' only wins.
April 15 — The Trojans lost to Bowdon 3-2. Mitchell Wooten and Daniel Watts won singles matches for Gordon Lee. The girls' team fell to Bowdon 4-1. Molly Colvard was the only winner for the Lady Trojans.
April 13 — The Lady Trojans defeated Trion 4-1. Amanda Browning, Molly Colvard, and Jessy Pressley swept the singles, and Kara Durham and Sara Stansell won in doubles. The boys lost to the Bulldogs 3-2. The teams of Zach Jones-Nicholas Gibson and Greg Buckley-Charlie Webb won in doubles for Gordon Lee.
March 30 — Both teams lost to Ringgold by 4-1 scores. Kara Durham and Sara Stansell won in doubles for the girls, and Zach Jones and Nicholas Gibson won in doubles for the boys.
March 29 — Both teams lost to Dade County by 4-1 scores. Daniel Watts won in singles for the boys and the team of Kara Durham and Sara Stansell won in doubles for the girls.
March 24 — The girls team fell to Murray County 5-0. The boys were defeated by Murray County 4-1. Nicholas Gibson won in singles for the Trojans.
March 23 — Both teams lost to Excel Christian by 3-2 scores. Amanda Browning won in singles and the team of Kara Durham and Sara Stansell won in doubles for the girls. The boys got doubles wins from Zach Jones and Mitchell Wooten and from Charlie Webb and Victor Huey.
March 18 — The boys team was defeated by Dalton 5-0. The girls fell to Dalton 4-1. Molly Colvard was the only winner for Gordon Lee.
March 15 — Both teams opened their seasons with losses to LaFayette. The girls lost 5-0 while the boys fell 4-1. Daniel Watts picked up the Trojans' only win.
