2007 season updates
May 1 The Gordon Lee girls lost to third-ranked Providence Christian 5-0 in the second round of the state tournament. The Lady Trojans finished the season with a record of 10-5.
Apr 26 The Trojans' season ended with a 5-0 loss to Aquinas in the first round of the state tournament.
Apr 25 The Lady Trojans defeated A.R. Johnson 4-1 in the first round of the state tournament. Sara Stansell and Jessy Pressley won singles matches, and the teams of Andrea Barger-Alli Brooks and Jennifer Eberhardt-Katie Parrish won in doubles.
Apr 18 The Trojans lost to Bremen 3-0 in the semifinals of the Region 6-A tournament and fell to Bowdon 3-2 in the third-place match. The doubles teams of Zach Jones-Charlie Webb and Eric Galyon-Greg Buckley got the wins for GLHS.
Apr 17 The Gordon Lee girls beat Bremen 3-2 in the semifinals of the Region 6-A tournament, but lost to Excel Christian 3-2 in the region finals. Molly Colvard won both her singles matches and the doubles team of Andrea Barger-Alli Brooks also won twice. Jessy Pressley won the clinching match against Bremen.
Apr 10 The Lady Trojans closed out their regular season by sweeping LFO 5-0. GLHS got wins from Molly Colvard, Sara Stansell, and Jessy Pressley, and the doubles teams of Andrea Barger-Alli Brooks and Jennifer Eberhardt-Katie Parrish. The Trojans dropped a 3-2 decision to the Warriors. The doubles teams of Zach Jones-Charlie Webb and Eric Galyon-Greg Buckley provided the wins.
Apr 9 The girls' team defeated Ridgeland 5-0. Molly Colvard, Sara Stansell, and Jessy Pressley swept the singles, and Andrea Barger-Alli Brooks and Jennifer Eberhardt-Katie Parrish were victorious in doubles. The boys beat the Panthers 4-1. Daniel Watts and Daniel Smith got victories in singles, and the teams of Zach Jones-Charlie Webb and Eric Galyon-Greg Buckley won in doubles.
Mar 30 The Lady Trojans clinched a tie for first place in Region 6-A with a 3-2 win over Bremen. Molly Colvard and Jessy Pressley won singles matches and the team of Andrea Barger-Alli Brooks won in doubles. The boys' team lost to the Blue Devils 4-1. The duo of Zach Jones-Charlie Webb was the Trojans' only winner.
Mar 29 The Trojans topped Dalton 4-1. Daniel Watts and Daniel Smith won in singles, and Zach Jones-Charlie Webb and Eric Galyon-Greg Buckley won in doubles. The Lady Trojans beat Dalton 3-2. The girls got singles victories from Molly Colvard and Sara Stansell, and a doubles win from the team of Andrea Barger-Alli Brooks.
Mar 27 The girls' team beat Trion 4-1. Molly Colvard, Sara Stansell, and Jessy Pressley swept the singles, and the team of Andrea Barger-Alli Brooks won in doubles. The boys also beat the Bulldogs 4-1. The Trojans got singles wins from Daniel Watts and Daniel Smith, and doubles victories from the teams of Zach Jones-Charlie Webb and Eric Galyon-Greg Buckley.
Mar 26 The Trojans defeated Dade County 4-1. Daniel Watts and Daniel Smith got victories in singles, and the doubles teams of Zach Jones-Charlie Webb and Eric Galyon-Greg Buckley also won. The Lady Trojans lost to the Lady Wolverines 4-1. The tandem of Andrea Barger-Alli Brooks got the only win for GLHS.
Mar 23 The boys' team beat Bowdon 3-2, getting wins from Daniel Smith in singles and from the doubles teams of Zach Jones-Charlie Webb and Eric Galyon-Greg Buckley. The girls also defeated Bowdon 3-2. Molly Colvard and Sara Stansell won in singles, and the team of Andrea Barger-Alli Brooks won in doubles.
Mar 21 The Lady Trojans defeated Northwest Whitfield 3-2. Molly Colvard won in singles for Gordon Lee, and the doubles teams of Andrea Barger-Alli Brooks and Jennifer Eberhardt-Katie Parrish also won. The boys' team lost to the Bruins 5-0.
Mar 20 Both teams dropped their region openers against Excel Christian. The girls lost to the Lady Eagles 3-2. GLHS got wins from Molly Colvard in singles and Andrea Barger-Alli Brooks in doubles. The boys fell to the Eagles 4-1. The doubles team of Eric Galyon-Greg Buckley was the only winner for the Trojans.
Mar 14 The girls' team beat Ringgold 5-0 as Molly Colvard, Sara Stansell, and Jessy Pressley swept the singles and Andrea Barger-Alli Brooks and Jennifer Eberhardt-Katie Parrish won in doubles. The boys won their match 3-2. Daniel Watts and Daniel Smith won singles matches, and the doubles team of Eric Galyon-Greg Buckley won the deciding match.
Mar 8 The Lady Trojans opened their season with a 4-1 loss to LaFayette. Sara Stansell was the only winner for Gordon Lee. The Trojans lost to the Ramblers 5-0.
