Overview of 2011-2012 Strategic Plan

Goal 1:
Increase the percentage of all 11th grade first-time test takers meeting or exceeding the state standards on the GHSGT.
Objective 1:
Increase the percentage of all students meeting/exceeding in ELA from 94% to 96% by June 2012.
Objective 2:
Increase the percentage of all students meeting/exceeding in science from 96% to 98% by June 2012.
Objective 3:
Increase the percentage of all students meeting/exceeding in social studies from 96% to 98% by June 2012.
Objective 4:
The percentage of all students meeting/exceeding in mathematics will be 92% or higher by June 2012.
Objective 5:
Increase the percentage of students with disabilities first time test takers meeting standards in math from 40% to 75% by June 2012.
Goal 2:
Increase the percentage of students completing a career pathway.
Objective:
25% of all students that graduate will complete a career pathway by June 2012.
Goal 3:
All students will graduate from high school.
Objective 1:
100% of freshmen will have a five year career plan by the end of their freshman year.
Objective 2:
The graduation rate for students with disabilities will remain at 100%.
Objective 3:
The graduation rate for economically disadvantaged students will increase from 94% to 96% by summer 2012.
Objective 4:
: The graduation rate for all students will increase from 98% to 99% by summer 2012.
Goal 4:
Increase the parental awareness of the methods of communication.
Objective:
Increase the positive comments on the parent surveys in the areas of communication to a minimum of 70%.
