- First Tardy: Student receives first warning from the teacher.
- Second Tardy: Student receives second warning from the teacher.
- Third Tardy: Student receives a break detention from the teacher. Each grade level will coordinate how the break detention monitor will be notified on who serves break detention. Connection teachers will also need to notify the corresponding break detention monitor for the student's grade level.
- Fourth Tardy: Teacher calls the student's parents and notifies them of the break detention and that the sixth tardy will result in a one-day ISS assignment. Student receives a break detention from the teacher. Each grade level will coordinate how the break detention monitor will be notified on who serves break detention. Connection teachers will also need to notify the corresponding break detention monitor for the student's grade level.
- Fifth Tardy: Student receives a break detention from the teacher. Each grade level will coordinate how the break detention monitor will be notified on who serves break detention. Connection teachers will also need to notify the corresponding break detention monitor for the student's grade level.
- Sixth Tardy: The teacher will send the name of the student to Mr. Sikes via e-mail. Mr. Sikes will assign one day ISS.
- Seventh Tardy-Ninth Tardy: Student receives a break detention from the teacher. Each grade level will coordinate how the break detention monitor will be notified on who serves break detention. Connection teachers will also need to notify the corresponding break detention monitor for the student's grade level.
- Tenth Tardy: The teacher will send the name of the student to Mr. Sikes via e-mail. Mr. Sikes will assign two days ISS.
- Eleventh Tardy to Infinity: Please notify Mr. Sikes of the eleventh tardy and a parent conference will be conducted. After the eleventh tardy please notify Mr. Sikes of tardy numbers 15, 20, 25, etc.
Note: The tardy number resets each nine weeks.
