2011 NGAC League Champions

Five Trojans named All-League

Running backs Braxton Salmon and Andrew Towns, quarterback Caleb O'Neal, lineman Mason Sims, and linebacker Chandler Chappelear were named to the North Georgia Athletic Conference All-League team at the league's annual awards ceremony Tuesday, November 1.

2011 season updates

Oct 25 Gordon Lee's season ended with a 36-0 loss to Dade County in the semifinals of the NGAC playoffs. The Trojans ended the year with a record of 5-2.

Oct 11 The Trojans held on for a 6-0 victory over LaFayette. GLMS finished the regular season with a record of 5-1 and a share of the NGAC championship.

Oct 6 Caleb O'Neal scored on a one-yard run in the second overtime to give Gordon Lee a 12-6 win over Ringgold. Andrew Towns had tied the game for GLMS with a second-quarter run.

Oct 4 The JV team beat Ringgold 42-0.

Sep 29 The Trojans defeated Chattanooga Valley 44-22. Andrew Towns ran for 116 yards and three touchdowns for GLMS. Caleb O'Neal added 110 yards rushing and two TDs. O'Neal also threw a 36-yard touchdown pass to Chaney Rodgers. The JV team fell to the Eagles 42-6.

Sep 15 Gordon Lee topped Trion 22-14. Drew Cobb scored two touchdowns and Andrew Towns added one TD for GLMS.

Sep 8 The Trojans defeated Dade County in double overtime.

Aug 30 Gordon Lee fell to Heritage 14-8 in its season opener. Andrew Towns scored the Trojans' touchdown. The JV team lost to the Generals 12-6.
