McAllister, Hovey named to All-League team
Two members of the Trojan football team received honors from the North Georgia Athletic Conference for their play during the 2009 season. Quarterback Garret McAllister and defensive end Jake Hovey were named to the NGAC All-League team at the league's annual awards ceremony.

Oct 19 Gordon Lee ended its season with a 14-0 loss to Dade County.
Oct 8 The Trojans fell to Lakeview 36-0. The JV team beat the Warriors 20-8 in its final game of the season.
Oct 1 Gordon Lee suffered a 35-0 loss to Heritage.
Sep 29 The JV team lost to Heritage 20-0.
Sep 24 The Trojans fell to Rossville 30-0. The JV team beat the Bulldogs 6-0.
Sep 17 Gordon Lee lost to Ringgold 32-12.
Sep 10 The Trojans defeated Trion 20-6. Tyler Payne had two touchdowns rushing and also returned a punt for a score. The Bulldogs' TD came with just 30 seconds remaining in the game. The JV team lost to Trion 6-0.
Sep 3 Gordon Lee shut out LaFayette 20-0. Tyler Payne and Shane Farmer had touchdown runs, while Logan Baldwin scored on a pass from Garret McAllister. McAllister also helped the Trojans' defensive cause with an interception. The JV team lost to the Ramblers 22-14.
Aug 27 The JV team opened its season with a 32-12 loss to McCallie.
