Three Trojans selected All-NGAC
Three members of the GLMS football team were selected to the NGAC All-League team for their play during the 2010 season. Eighth graders Tyler Payne, Jake Rogers, and Hunter Teeters were honored at the end-of-season awards ceremony.
2010 season updates
Oct 21 The Trojans season ended with a 40-0 loss in Ringgold in the NGAC playoffs.
Oct 14 Gordon Lee trailed by only two at halftime but saw Dade County score 30 unanswered points in the second half in a 38-6 loss to the Wolverines.
Oct 5 The Trojans clinched a playoff spot for the first time since 2004 by beating Lakeview 40-14. The GLMS defense allowed only two first downs after the first quarter. The JV team ended its season by knocking off the Warriors 20-0.
Sep 30 Gordon Lee overcame five turnovers and held on for a 14-0 win over Heritage. The JV team topped the Generals 22-14.
Sep 23 The Trojans defeated Rossville 42-14. The GLMS offensive line led the way to six rushing TDs, three by Hunter Teeters, two by Tyler Payne, and one by Dalton Owens. The JV team shut out the Bulldogs 30-0.
Sep 16 Gordon Lee lost to Ringgold 32-0.
Sep 14 The JV team beat Ringgold 12-0.
Sep 9 The Trojans dominated the first half of their 28-8 victory over Trion. The JV team gave up two touchdowns in the final nine seconds of the first half in losing to the Bulldogs 18-16.

Sep 2 Gordon Lee defeated LaFayette 18-0 in the NGAC opener for both teams. The JV team beat the Ramblers 28-8.
Aug 27 The JV team opened its season with a 8-0 win over McCallie. Andrew Towns scored on a 40-yard pass from Caleb O'Neal for the game's only touchdown.
