Lady Trojan basketball team sweeps NGAC championships
The Lady Trojan basketball team finished off the winningest season in school history by defeating Dade County 39-15 in the finals of the North Georgia Athletic Conference tournament on February 10. Gordon Lee had beaten Rossville in the tournament's first round and topped Heritage in the semifinals.
The tournament title was the second for the Lady Trojans, who had previously won their third regular-season championship by posting a 13-1 record in NGAC games. The team's overall record of 16-2 established a new GLMS record for most wins in a season.
Four Lady Trojans honored by NGAC
Holli Brooks, Alli O'Neal, and Anna Quinn were named to the North Georgia Athletic Conference All-League team at the end-of-season awards ceremony. Those three plus Kelsie Bickett were selected to the NGAC All-Tournament team. O'Neal was picked as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
2006-2007 season updates

Feb 9 Gordon Lee held off Heritage 35-29 in the semifinals of the NGAC tournament to advance to the championship game for the fourth time in five years.
Feb 5 The Lady Trojans opened play in the NGAC tournament with a 57-11 win over Rossville.
Feb 2 Gordon Lee defeated Heritage 33-16 to clinch its third NGAC regular-season championship.
Jan 30 The Lady Trojans took over first place in the NGAC with a 45-36 win over LaFayette.
Jan 26 Gordon Lee beat Dade County 45-18. The JV team defeated the Lady Wolverines 34-17 to end its season with a record of 14-0, becoming the first GLMS basketball team to finish a season undefeated.
Jan 23 The Lady Trojans defeated Ringgold 45-14.
Jan 19 Gordon Lee beat Chattanooga Valley 36-25. The JV team defeated the Lady Eagles 31-12.
Jan 16 The Lady Trojans knocked off Lakeview 42-18.
Jan 13 The JV team defeated Chattanooga Christian 36-25.
Jan 12 Gordon Lee started the second half of its NGAC schedule with a 46-14 win over Rossville.
Jan 9 The Lady Trojans got back in the win column with a 45-17 victory over Heritage. The JV team beat Chattanooga Valley 34-15.
Jan 6 The JV team defeated Dade County 38-17.
Jan 5 Gordon Lee fell to Chattanooga Christian 24-15. The JV team beat the Lady Chargers 29-12.
Dec 19 The JV team improved its record to 8-0 with a 44-11 win over Ringgold.
Dec 16 The JV team defeated Heritage 30-7.
Dec 15 The Lady Trojans could not hold a big first-half lead and lost to LaFayette 33-30. The JV team beat the Lady Ramblers 29-13.
Dec 12 Gordon Lee outscored Dade County 18-4 in the first quarter and went on to defeat the Lady Wolverines 39-18.
Dec 9 The JV team beat Heritage 42-15.
Dec 8 The Lady Trojans ran past Ringgold 41-11. The JV team also defeated the Lady Tigers, by a 37-8 score.
Dec 5 Gordon Lee pushed its record to 3-0 with a 39-24 win over Chattanooga Valley.
Dec 2 The JV team knocked off LaFayette 25-17.
Dec 1 The Lady Trojans jumped to an 18-2 lead after one quarter and cruised to a 42-12 win over Lakeview. The JV team beat the Lady Warriors 58-6.
Nov 28 Gordon Lee's varsity team began the season by defeating Rossville 45-10.
