2010 season updates
May 6 The girls' team finished second in the NGAC Championships at LaFayette. Winners for GLMS were Katelyn Lee in the shot put and discus, Anna Pettigrew in the pole vault, and the 4x400m relay team of Samantha Suggs, Riley Breeden, Ryan Schwinne, and Tiffany Holland. The boys' team placed fourth in the event. The Trojans' only individual champion was Jake Hovey in the shot put.

Apr 23 The Lady Trojans finished second in the seven-team Gordon Lee Invitational, five points behind first-place Heritage. Katelyn Lee placed first in the shot put and the discus, setting new school records of 31-11 in the shot and 115-0 in the discus. Other winners were Anna Pettigrew in the pole vault, Erin Brown in the 1600m, and the 4x400m relay team. Abbey Bohannon was second in the 800m, but her time of 2:40.5 was a new GLMS record. The Trojans placed third in the meet. Jake Hovey was first in the shot put while Garret McAllister finished second in the 1600m with a school-record time of 5:19. McAllister also tied the GLMS record of 2:20 in the 800m with his second-place finish in that event.
Apr 19 The girls' team finished first in a four-way meet. Tiffany Holland set a new school record in the 400m with a time of 1:05.61. The boys' team was second in the meet.
Apr 16 The Lady Trojans were second to Baylor in the Lakeview Invitational.
