Three receive NGAC honors
Three members of the Lady Trojan volleyball team received honors from the North Georgia Athletic Conference for their play during the 2006 season and tournament. Holli Brooks and Courtnee Hall were selected to NGAC All-League Team, and Kaita McGregor was named to the All-Tournament squad.
2006 season updates
March 18 — The Lady Trojans' season ended with a 21-25, 25-19, 25-8 loss to Ringgold in the NGAC tournament. Courtney Hall had 10 service points and Holli Brooks added nine.
March 17 — Gordon Lee lost to Heritage 25-19, 18-25, 25-16 in the opening round of the NGAC tournament.
March 14 — The Lady Trojans fell to LaFayette 25-23, 26-24. Kalen McLeroy had 10 points on serve and Courtnee Hall had seven. GLMS won the second match 25-17, 25-14. Gordon Lee finished the regular season tied for third in the NGAC.
March 10 — Gordon Lee rallied to beat Chattanooga Valley 24-26, 25-21, 25-18. Courtnee Hall had 18 service points for the Lady Trojans, while Holli Brooks added seven.
March 7 — The Lady Trojans defeated Lakeview 25-14, 25-7. Courtnee Hall led Gordon Lee with nine service points and Kalen McLeroy added six. In the second match, GLMS beat the Lady Warriors in three games, 22-25, 25-17, 25-17. Kelsie Bickett racked up 15 points on serve, while Kelsey Matheny registered nine and Brittany Murphy had eight.
March 3 — Gordon Lee won a pair of three-game matches from Heritage. The Lady Trojans rallied in the first match to take a 17-25, 26-24, 25-18 victory. Kalen McLeroy led GLMS with nine service points. Gordon Lee captured the second match 25-20, 19-25, 25-16, as Haley Wallin had eight points on serve.
February 28 — The Lady Trojans took game number one from Ringgold 29-27, before the Lady Tigers rallied to win the final two games 25-15, 25-17. Kalen McLeroy had 8 aces for Gordon Lee. In the second match, Cassy Clendenen had 14 service points but GLMS dropped a hard-fought match, 25-22, 26-24.
February 24 — Gordon Lee lost a pair of matches, falling to LaFayette 25-17, 25-14, and to Ringgold 25-19, 25-10.
February 21 — The Lady Trojans beat Heritage 25-17, 25-27, 15-10. Haley Kokoszka won 15 points on serve and Courtnee Hall won 14 for Gordon Lee, who took the second match against the Lady Generals 25-19, 25-15. Kelsie Bickett, Brittany Murphy, and Lindsay Pierce won seven points on serve each.
February 17 — Gordon Lee downed Lakeview 25-18, 25-14, as Haley Kokoszka served six aces, then followed up by beating the Lady Warriors 25-20, 30-32, 15-10. Kelsie Bickett won 14 points on serve in the second match.
February 14 — The Lady Trojans lost in their opening matches of the season, falling to Chattanooga Valley in the first match 12-25, 25-22, 15-12. They then lost a close 25-19, 25-22 match to the Lady Eagles.
