At the Chickamauga City Board of Education meeting on March 9, 2020, Gracie O’Neal was recognized as the STAR Student of the Year. Gracie earned this recognition by having the highest SAT score among the senior class. In addition, Gracie recognized a teacher who has had a strong influence on her. Gracie chose Ms. Heather Solmon as STAR Teacher of the Year. This is the 5th time Ms. Solmon has received this honor. The Walker County Chamber of Commerce provided a donation of $100 for the STAR Student. We appreciate this donation and the support of the Walker County Chamber of Commerce.  Congratulations to Gracie O’Neal and Ms. Heather Solmon.
